We often see them, they are the big black hissing beetle, we find them in the ground under the Poinciana tree. They are a bit scary to see some times. Chooks love em.
I seriously have never seen them so big !
Barabara I would assume so - didnt get to check them out - the garden helpers as in chooks ate while i was putting the camera away!
Were they rhinoceros beetles?
