Growing local

Since rejoining BLF and going to Andy's GV on Sunday I've been finding it increasingly more difficult to get myself to work! I thought I was bad before, but you people are a bad influence on me. Here I am sitting on my front step with car keys in hand, having just planted put a few purple top turnips, looking at the rest of my seedlings and thinking, "What one more thing should I plant before I head off to my job."

Seriously, thanks for the inspiration everyone, but I have to get some work done now.

P.S. I didn't quite know where to post this, so thought I'd just start my blog!

My sympathies,  Matthew. We sometimes don't know where to stop.  Just another cutting or some seeds then there are those fruit trees we can't do without.

yes we belong to both groups as will as two facebook see swappers groups and of course the local garden group and   if you are a fruit tree nut like we are Sub tropicl fruit growers meetings and monthly newsletter are also addictive - they have a raffle each meeting night and we usually bring home at least 4 prizes between us - trees plants or even unusual seeds ! there is a graden visit for Sub tropical next weekend at one members garden who has been growing fruit trees for 30 years ! wow so thats 2 to 4 garden visits a month so inspiring !

Addictive. Tell me about it :-\ - try going to a BOGI meeting and keeping your hands in your pockets! For we garden nuts, this website and BOG are hard to go past.
