Buying bulk organic manures - take 2

Lots of discussion about bulk buys with no luck. Does anyone have a yard big enough to stock bulk buy? Perhaps members could then buy a bag or trailer load, depending on individual needs. As I don't have a tow bar and trailer anymore, my buying power is limited to 2 bags in my car or paying for a delivery that is generally too big for my garden ( I have a mini house and even minnier garden! ). To simplify matters, I imagine this to be an honesty system. Continue

Buying local........

I'm in the process of setting up a new vege garden at the front of my house, hence many purchases and expense!! In view of my thoughts on sustainability, I decided to give Bunnings a big miss and try my local hardware shop at Forest Lake. The owner gave me great advice and service, along with a discount :) The original price was still cheaper than Bunnings AND his delivery fee (on the way home from work) will be about $5 - $10.00!!
