Excesses of summer.

Hi guys, well this might be the last blog from me for a little bit as my long holiday is almost at an end and GASP!! - I have to join the working class again and start at my new job :)  But you never know, I might be desperate for some gardening escapism and starting over at a new workplace may not be as bad as I think so we shall see.

2016 -Busy start to the year.

Hi everyone,

How has the gardening been?  I've been on holidays in north Queensland for 2 weeks and nearly died.  Being up there makes me appreciate my coastal Brisbane temperatures much more.  You literally cannot do anything between the hours of 9 and 4 - it is just tooo hot to move and my parents don't have air con so you get no respite even being in doors.  I was out in the garden till 11 today.  Yes, I was covered head to toe and yes I was hot but not unbearably hot.  I would…
