Subtropic Seasonal Abundance

I love the time of the year when our subtropical climate makes plant growth go to levels not ever experienced in temperate climates. It can be now, mid or late summer when the temperatures are warm and the rain regular. Now is such a time. Here a few photos in my garden where I'm seeing this. I'm sure everybody is experiencing something similar with subtropical plants such as choko, squash, etc.…

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
