The Plot

Getting the plot started has involved laying down lots and lots of straw (lucerne and normal straw). I then ordered some green manure seeds and had just planted them last Wed. To my amazement and complete delight, I discovered today the first fruits of my labours in the form of Lab Lab beans as part of the green manure. The start...

My garden to date has consisted of herbs and tomatoes in pots. The tomatoes did ok crop-wise,  but have long since succumbed to the summer heat. The remaining herbs and pots below. The chillies are going crazy, the basil is doing well and the capsicum not so great.…

GrowVetiver

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
