This year, despite a very warm, and a…

A lazy Sunday at the Manor

I was pottering about in the yard today at a lazy old pace.  It was pottering in a literal sense because we'd pulled out a heap of Bromilliads that I potted up into six huge pots.  I also finally planted out Farina's ArkLiving pot which has become a lettuce garden (you can never have too many greens).  Anyway... that was when the "Manor Bug" as I call it struck with full force.  I was obsessed to get in touch with Farmer Andy.

2 weeks to go :)

Hi everyone.

I'm so excited about you guys coming to visit my little oasis in suburbia.  I have been very busy trying to get the garden in tip top shape but you all would know that a gardener's work is never finished.  I'm also being very mean to my children.  This year will be our first major crop of oranges (20 mind you) off our valencia orange and they are just BEGGING me to harvest them so they can eat them and make orange juice.  They'll just have to wait and make do with all…

The garden is coming to life after a very brief, almost non-existent, resting period.

My multigraft peach/nectarine tree is…
