Finally a chance to get out in the garden ( sunday morning ) only to find quite a few problems as a result of the un-seasonable rain and warm temperatures . The last of my broccoli went from large thight heads to open almost flowering in 4 days, the mizuna completley collapeed , snow peas the same , i really have not had a chance to pick them and i have found that like a lot of things if you dont they stop flowering and go of . there are some thing coming on well , the red cabbage , little…

A friend of mine grew a Hass avocado from seed and gave it to me before he had to go overseas.
I am not sure how old it was when he gave it to me, I suspect 3 months.
I will track its growth in this blog out of curiosity, as I read they can fruit within 18 months. Fingers crossed.
