After many years, I've finally gotten around to creating a blog to talk about the two things I love: food production and fishing.

Finally a chance to get out in the garden ( sunday morning ) only to find quite a few problems as a result of the un-seasonable rain and warm temperatures . Hello has anyone tried to plant elephant garlic this late in brisbane would I at least get some rounds do you think
A friend of mine grew a Hass avocado from seed and gave it to me before he had to go overseas.
I am not sure how old it was when he gave it to me, I suspect 3 months.
I will track its growth in this blog out of curiosity, as I read they can fruit within 18 months. Fingers crossed.…Continue
