I am on a huge learning curve. I am happy to share what little knowledge I have learn't in the past 18 months or so and also what seeds and fresh produce I can manage to not kill :-)
Here is the link for the guy who sells banana trees - you would need to call him and ask him to save them for you though as they normally go quickly at the markets:
Finally found contact details for my 'fruit tree man' that I used to get plants from at Beenleigh Markets.
Ron & Gaye's Nursery, we sell at Mt Tamborine School Market on the last Sunday and at Beenleigh Showground markets 1st and 3rd Sundays each month - or Phone 075543 8035 or Mobile 0419 274 316 for appointment at farm. No business between sunset Friday and sunset Saturday as it is God's Holy Sabbath.

Hi Trinette
Not sure if you were interested in the lucerne as well - here is what I put on Cass's page
The member with lucerne mulch is Don Forsyth, here is a link to his page: http://brisbanelocalfood.ning.com/profile/donforsyth
I have also done a blog on Lucerne Mulch recently and the trouble I have had with fine Sugar Cane mulch.
Hi Trinette, Have fun moving house! It must be nice to finally be moving. You'll be able to start a whole new garden - how exciting! Where are you moving to?
Hi Trinette
I have the Galangal Red at home, let me know if you will be around this weekend and we might be able to drop it off. Otherwise if you are in the area we will be around just give me a call.
Thanks
Hi Trinett, is the yakumo giant peas you wanted from diggers the same as yakumo snowpeas? I bought a packet from Eden Seeds last year, and planted some and these were the photos from then. They were certainly bigger then the store bought ones, but didn't left any till full size for seed saving before they were killed by mildew, I think the structure wasn't tall enough for them and they didn't get enough airflow. I sow a dozen this year at the base of our peach tree, but I think the chooks got them... if you just want to give it a try, I can spare a dozen seeds for you.
