Sounds great, but we are not able to attend due to working Sundays.  If we were closer to retirement this lifestyle would be great, but currently still need to work to be more financially stable.  Then again if we worked part-time work and were actually able to do this now while still fit and active is a real temptation. Also would depend upon selling our own property. We are trying to live sustainably but working full time plus the travel time to and fro makes it really difficult to maintain 2 acres.  We have been trying to develop a food forest to sustain us through retirement - but sharing this type of lifestyle with others would be so much better - northside would be preferable - the weather is often better too, at least I think it is??. Great idea, hope it all goes well.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
