Watching tha Hass grow

A friend of mine grew a Hass avocado from seed and gave it to me before he had to go overseas.

I am not sure how old it was when he gave it to me, I suspect 3 months.

I will track its growth in this blog out of curiosity, as I read they can fruit within 18 months. Fingers crossed.

Say you have grown some tomatoes, and one particular one is more vigorous than the others or has larger fruit or is more prolific; well you can propagate it from cuttings.…

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
