Liz I think Ed looked after the EM and I ended up taking the small tub of Azomite back with me somehow "absent Minded not sure exactly what happened there but can remedy that 1st chance I get" good luck with your open day have you put it on the events page will look.

I'd forgotten! but now that you've reminded me I look forward to checking it out when you get a moment to scan it. Sounds like something that I should forward to my architect friends.
Hello Liz
I lifted the banana paw paw circle idea from "Gangamma's mandala" in Bill Mollison's Permaculture Manual. It's an expensive book (about $100), but I highly recommend it none-the-less. Also Permaculture I & II by David Holmgren and Bill Mollison, and The Permaculture Home Garden by Linda Woodrow.
If you look under the 'Resources' heading on my profile page there is a powerpoint presentation about creating the banana circle - it includes a copy of the the diagram in the book.
The Permculture Manual also has a fascinating design and explanation for a sustainable house design for Brazilian suburban houses which is totally retrofit-able here I reckon. I'll try to scan it and put it up.
