Southern Moreton Bay Islands offer

We represent a couple of new start up growers in the islands and a nursery who are looking for some casual/semi-permanent labour for their operations. In the short term the offer is room and board for a period and in return for labour of a few hours per weekday you would receive training from experienced operators. In the longer term we are seeking a farm manager for our pilot market garden once it becomes established later in the year.If you like the idea of residing on the islands temporarily…See More

Morning Dave.

Is there a garden on one of the islands that you might suggest a small group visit to?

Welcome Dave, as Elaine said it is good to hear what you are trying to do on the Islands.  Mu stepfathers family lived on Russell about 80 years ago and grew many things on their farm.

Good to see food growing again on those islands. What a wasted resource up to now!
