"Yes Jeff, they did, and the plaster walls, all the carpet, paint, furniture and everything on the ground got soaked.  They had to pay to stay at another place while every thing was repaired."

"Ageing disgracefully however ;-) I turn off the water supply to the washing machine so it's only connected when it's in use. That would save most of the flood risk I reckon."

"It can also flood your house. Friends of ours went on a boat cruise for a holiday and when they came home their dishwasher blew a hose behind the machine and flooded the house.  Fortunately the insurance helped out with the 30 thousand…"

Cooking recipes from around the world

My wife and myself attended this cooking session. There were only 12 people attending, usually about 20. We prepared and cooked recipes from 5 countries, Malaysia, Peru, Norway, Italy, and Turkey. After 1 ½ hrs preparing we shared the spoils for lunch. I would recommend these cooking sessions to anyone who maybe interested.
