Hoticulture and agriculture, history, ideas and info

Ok this blog will hopefully deliver info and tips on the wide range of possibilities and resources for gardening, agricultural endeavours and growing together.
I’m going to start with a bit of historical background and will try not to get to bogged down in detail, please forgive any grammatical or spelling errors as I have a history based in dealing with dyslexia, but I also have an almost photographic memory for things I am passionate about.

I agree with you about the spam. I also had a comment from a "Lucy" who provided an email address but details against her were dodgy - but that has been removed which is appreciated.

Hi A, have you ever heard of this guy? Haven't read more than one line of his stuff but 'Green Roof Legislation' caught my eye...

That's probably it - it is expensive but Ash makes his own and at the moment we throw it in the bin when he does, so thought when we had it (already used) then we could compost it...

Hi A, when you get a chance can you give me a price on both Fish emulsion and seeweed fertiliser.

I will probably buy a bulk pack of each and make them available at cost to members (as well as use myself of course). Also when you deliver I could probably do with more bugs.

All good anthony about my plans......I would love to do a few containers but hubby brough up good point.....our little girl, age 18 months would just play in them all the time, she has already got into most of my pot plants and broke but one of my garden ordaments. (My two older boys, never touched at her age...they soon learnt if i touch, i get in trouble...but our little girl..., has no ears and got attitude to boot)
Also wana keep cost down, as much as posible, as i was thinking of puting chicken wire around the containers but more expence to add....i still got to wire off back garden, from cats and my little one heehee....I got a few stakes from recycle market dump just need to get wire next pay. lol.
Chers for all the ideas and love all the info im getting from everyone.
Thanks muchly.
