Great to hear from you Andrew! I have the copy that was so kindly made available on the net. My partner found it, Googling goddess-knows-what at the time. She found this BLF group, too. Anyway ... I laboriously copied and pasted the text and photos and whipped it into shape in my desktop publisher and printed it off for myself. I have bought some out of print books from overseas (Shewell-Cooper being one) and they are quite exxy including postage to Aus.

I would like a copy of your book and have sent a message to you from your website.

Yes, I have made several batches of QR compost - 3 to 6 months over our winter and it's not humus but useable when there's nothing else. Yes, I can get the activators. Have Yarrow and Nettle growing. Valerian I cannot get. I recall Maye saying the Nettle was the most useful. Can get proper honey direct from an apiarist. I've been using Bokashi juice with herbs and with/without honey, recording results and haven't really come on a definitive concoction yet. I don't want to be dependent on buying the activator from overseas all the time apart from the expense.

How on earth one can get the temps and the finish-time closer to what Maye says I don't know at the moment.

Best regards

Elaine
