Ruby Grapefruit

A gift of love bears fruit! A few years ago I gave my Rozie a ruby grapefruit tree because I knew she loved the fruit. This year we have 6 or 7 on board. They are beautifully juicy.

Looks real nice Andy.  I've got to go and pick mine - only 3 this year but since I only planted 2 yrs ago, not complaining.  I don't like them to eat but LOVE them as a juice.

Rozie and I have officially stored that under "U" for useful.  It'll get a try for sure.

Weirdly, ruby Grapefruit goes well with Chicken, even better than Lemon.

I hate the buggers Elaine.  I had a bit and it was juicy.  Rozie loved it.  Apparently they are perfect.

And sweeter than the usual yellow Grapefruit? I'm surprised that they have fruited for you. So much for the conventional theory that citrus and especially the red-fruited ones need less humidity and more cold than we have here.
