I find that you can cultivate your beans inside this rig in just over 48 hours during warm weather....if you keep the water flushes up.
The waste water is great for the garden.
Place the setup near a tap.
For my ongoing and daily needs -- & given fridge storage life-- I sprout one half cup of mung beans each time.
The setup is fool proof.

Using the sprouts -- example 'a':

Umami soup broth with sweet potatoes, diced prickly pear paddles (nopales), daikon and (sprouted) mung bean 'noodles' . Chili choice optional. Topping: sliced spring onion greens.
