Growing local

I planted some confetti radish and got nothing except this monster, which I’m guessing is a stunted daikon. It looks like it’s spent all of its time growing leaves rather than the root. It had to come out as it was over shading the capsicum! The leaves have a higher nutritional value than the root. Most likely this will all go into a soup.

You can also grate it over thingsso long as it isn't too stringy.  I find the daikon type that grows well for me here is Minowase.
