Growing local

I'm doing okay with peaches this year. The rats got a few but there's still ample on the tree.

Thanks Andy - yes I have seen that label. Worth thinking about. Where did you buy it?

I'm not sure of the variety, Elaine.  It was sold as a "tropical peach" and seems to do really well here. The tree is still laden with fruit.  I've sampled some now and they are very nice indeed.

Oh Andy, they are beautiful. Peaches are my all time favourite fruit. Enjoy!!!

Lovely harvest, Andrew, and they are nice cut up on breakfast cereal.

We (I mean the dogs and traps) have managed to catch about 5 dirty rats in the last couple of months.  They seem to multiply very fast.

Good to know which stone fruit does well locally. What is the variety, Andy? They look good enough to eat ;-)
