Growing local

"White Satin". This tree was only planted maybe 8mths ago. I removed the first lot of flowers like a good girl but left this lot to develop into fruit (removing flowers for the first two years was recommended). Not a problem - the fruit is developing beautifully.

They're very small - about half the size of a store bought nectarine - but once ripe they're nice eating. I have to go out each day and do the squeeze test to see if any are softening.

GrowVetiver

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
