Could be a good option for those with limited growing space. Will watch with interest how you go with it :)
I have a stackable herb planter which is moderately successful. Some plants do better in it that others but your idea might give plants more root space.
I have used the 3-cornered stacking wicking pots. Found the mix needed to be more water-retentive than I used. The reservoir was way too small. Biggest downside I found was that 1 side almost always didn't get enough sun. And that was 3-sided. Unless the gardens can be turned or put somewhere where they get equal exposure to the sun OR different plants are on the shady side, the usefulness might be less than you hope.
Not my diagram I am afraid but I was thinking of adding a in-ground worm farm too it. Not sure how that would work though
Great diagram. Rhys is certainly keeping busy or are you the ideas person Valerie. Looks great would probably be great for elderly gardeners in Retirement Places. Also Units perhaps. Keep the ideas coming.
I guess the wheels are optional. The weight would be quite big. So it would require strong wheels. Maybe big wheels would makes it easier to roll on grass but I'd say the weight concentrated on the wheels would quickly sink the whole thing in the ground if on grass.
Looks amazing! Would it be tricky to roll on grass? Ideal solution for restricted backyards (e.g. courtyard), renters.
