Growing local

Golden Midget Watermelon - golden outside, pink inside.
A very dense fruit, this one while a big handful for me, weighed 1.4 kg.
Flesh is sweet although it could have stayed on the vine another few days to really sweeten right through.
Flesh is dense not dissimilar to a waxy potato where the commercial fruits are more like a floury potato.
A good Watermelon flavour.
I can post seeds, just send a stamped self-addressed envelope to me - details via BLF personal message.

Very seedy, Dianne. The vine is maybe 8 feet from root to end of longest branch. I have it partly up a trellis. A couple of pix further on there's one of the whole plant.

Wonderful Elaine. Nothing spells Summer like Watermelon, and these look like lovely little beauties that I could actually fit into the fridge. Did they have many seeds in each melon? How much space did they take up when completely grown?
