Apparently if you cook them (any beans) with Kombu, you can avoid the flatulence side effects. I found some Kombu at the Genki Mart a Japanese store in Alderley.
I've found that they are the easiest and best producing bean to grow in Brisbane (especially in my warm backyard). But Darren has been telling us this for years :)
They're a surprisingly good bean, aren't they?
I love snacking on the immature beans.
I'm still thinking about it Sophie. The last lot went into a big chicken pot pie that I made. I'm thinking Mexican with this lot.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion. It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)
