Sure are Christa.  I copied how Dianne uses the little salvia's in among the showy flowers.  I was quite pleased.  Roses do alright for me provided I look after them.  When we first got here I planted heaps out the front but then got busy with work and new baby and didn't look after them for a good 2-3 years.  Have slowly been replacing the old, not healthy ones but have 4 older ones still left.  I'm looking for the ones now with good disease resistance and they must either be super fragrant or last long as a cut flower.  I take my phone with me and check the varieties against the Trealor website before I buy them.

Susan, that pink rose and those salvias are beautiful,  with a white chrysanthemum as well.  It is lovely to have house flowers.   I have not seen those salvias before, are they the ones you bought when you spoilt yourself recently.    Roses are bad luck for me, a long story, but salvias are my favourite.   There are some that are good cut flowers.   A friend of mine used to make flowers arrangements out of whatever I had in the garden, coloured leaves, sticks etc. they looked good.

Lovely Bouquet Susan, sounds like you would rather be at home with your flowers than at work...
