Lissa the asparagus is amazing. We planted the first seeds around June last year and already had decent sized spears this year. We tried not to harvest them yet to let the plant get stronger, but a few keep disappearing. Have just planted the rest of the seeds, so should have a good crop next year. Every kid who walks past the garden stops to point out the pineapples. They were the first I'd ever grown - add some chicken or pigeon manure to help them along.

Just beautiful Jacqui :) My own little pineapples will be looking like this one above soon with the little flowers. Look at your asparagus! Can't wait for mine to be putting up something edible.
