Rachel made a mulberry/coconut slice. We made tomato relish and experimented with pickling some chilacayote. Picked more papaya, mulberries, starfruit and dwarf ambarella. Cooked 100 eggs and fed back to the quail. Pickled eggs will have to wait till tomorrow.

Love the look of your slice, think I will try it myself this week. Your Preserves look very nice, Love the Papaya there is so much you can do with them.
Great thanks Doug for the recipe!
yes, i'd be keen for recipe too. I tried this on the weekend and sprinkled some mulberries on top:
1 cup SRF, 1 cup desc. coconut, 1 cup milk, 3/4 cup sugar & 1 egg
Hey Doug, I’d be interested in recipe for the slice. Trying to find new ways to use the mulberries at our place
I dried some black mulberries. Doesn't work as they are too seedy inside.
Fantastic. I did a Youtube clip on golden pickled quail eggs. It's a pretty good recipe mate. The gold colour comes from turmeric.
