For one week every month my son and I go on a vegan diet. There are many political, environmental and ethical reasons to go vegan, all of which I more or less agree with until it becomes propaganda. For me, to hear that my 13-year-old had concerns and wanted to eat more vegetables was reason enough. A chance to steer clear from my die-hard habits of eating mostly meat bread and dairies is also extremely attractive. And so begins the adventure of finding interesting plant based dishes without the temptation of overtaking them with cheese and meat.
