Unfortunately Adam has had to cancel his GV in September due to personal reasons, any member who would like to have a GV in Sept please let Dianne know either by phone on 0407691485 or Personal Message through the BLF Inbox. Happy Gardening Everyone, Enjoy Spring Planting!!!
If any Member would like to fill the spot that has been left due to the Elaine's Cancellation of their GV. I would love to hear from you. Please message me through the Personal Emails in your Inbox. If not already a friend, you will need to friend me first.. Thanks everyone for your participation.
Hi Rhondda, have answered your email, it will be in your in box. It will be lovely to visit another members garden that I we been to.
Hi Rhondda - if you find a month where someone has taken either and early or late date, you can have the other end of the month. I'm sure we'll all be happy to do two visits occasionally.
Hi Dianne, I know you are full for this year but I would like to volunteer to have a garden day at my home if someone drops out. Regards, Rhondda.
Thank You Andy for filling the last empty spot for November and a special thank you must go to all our members, without you there would be no GV's. We now have a good mix of GV's for the year, thanks again.
Would you like me to organize the Daley's Visit for March or May (providing this is a good time for them) as I already have a Special EVENT on the calendar for April.
If you want a visit like we had last time it will need to be organized but if you are going to just go down there as customers then you won't need to let them know.
Double yes to a Daley's visit! I wasn't really active in the group when the last one was offered.
Yes
Would any one be interested in doing another Daley's outing once it's a bit cooler? Maybe March, April?
Hi Adam, have sent you a personal message re your Garden Visit in September.
A message to all of our Garden Visit Hosts: Firstly thanks so much for hosting a GV in 2018, we look forward to visiting the Gardens of many New Members and older ones as well.
I am looking to value add our GV's again this year, like we did last. You have to agree it did add a little extra to the day, these could be and don't have to be garden related. Perhaps you have a Simple Recipe to show and share, a Grafting Technique, How to use Recycled objects in the Garden and the list goes on. If anyone has any suggestions, you might like to emails them to me and we will see if we can't add them into our GV's.
February, November and December are the only months we do not have Hosts, please email me with your details if you would like to take any these dates.
September would be great Adam!
Hi everyone, I joined BLF before christmas but the last month or so has been a bit crazy.. so Im only now getting around to really spending a little time on the site. I look forward to visiting some gardens and am happy to host a visit later in the year.. maybe September? 15th? Can be flexible tho..
I love the plant naming competition idea!
Brilliant idea Andrew.... "Name the plants" competition .
Well done team! I don't want to let anyone know that most of the fun is the get together with like minded folks. Shhh....
Anne - you might provide the first BLF competition - who can name the most of Anne's plants. The ones she already knows don't count towards your total!
I hope I have now fixed everything up. Cathie is still to confirm her date with me.
Cheers...Dianne
Thanks so Much Andy for your words of encouragement, you have prompted some action on the GV front. Thanks to everyone for the kind words of support for my upcoming surgery. I find out tomorrow when my operation is, so maybe this week or next. I truly hope I am not out of action for to long. Happy Gardening.
Sometimes it takes a village Andy! Thanks for sorting me out!
I lived in Fairfield for over 20 years. This is a friendly site and finding a private bio is unusual.
Always add photos using the "From my computer" option, even if you are on a mobile phone or other device.
