Our forum discussions are broken into a number of content categories. There are 12 which is far too many.
I normally resist changing locations of threads. I also normally resist making "unilateral" decisions about the site.
However, I intend to reduce and rename some categories over the next while. Ning lacks the ability for me to do it in bulk which means I have to move each thread which is painful. If your thread is moved, please don't be offended. I am doing a site tidy up.

Sounds like the right way to go. Thanks for doing it.
We trust your Judgement.
Phase 1 is complete. You will notice a slight change to the title of some of the forum "categories." Very few discussions should have been lost.
And then we have "groups." I intend to reduce them as well. If I can copy posts then I will but at this point in time, I can't see much of a sensible way to do it. Some groups are now gone. Sorry about that.
