Brisbane Local Food

Growing local

Hi everyone

We have just had 18 roundbales (the large, full sized ones) of sugarcane mulch delivered to top up and expand the mulch around the fruit trees.

Last time my husband went and picked them up in the ute and trailer from the cane farm but he could only get three at a time so we decided to get a truckload delivered and see if anyone is interested in the surplus.

We will probably use around 8 ourselves and Andrew's parents want a couple.

They cost $45 each (we are not looking to make a profit so are happy to sell them for what they cost).

Our place is out at Moorina (off Caboolture River Rd just before Rocksberg) which is about 10 minutes from Morayfield. We have a forklift for loading. I could possibly drop off too if your place is on the way when we are going somewhere.

Please contact me through BLF if interested.

That is really very generous of you Angeles :)

Hopefully someone will take up your kind offer.

Hi Angeles,

Is there any chance I could pick up a bale of sugar cane mulch I live in Morayfield

Hi Colin.

This thread goes back to March this year and Angeles hasn't posted anything on the site since. I would be surprised if you get an answer to this one.

Thank you for the response, I received a message last week from Angeles where she

said she still had some bales but I can not find the message, I was trying to get the address so I can

pick up a bale.

Cheers Col

Have a look in your In Box Col, top right of the page. Maybe there.
