Oh, I saw this too.  It looks fantastic.  There are times when I almost have hope for the future of our children. 

Who knows if there is anything like this in Australia? 

As if! CSIRO might be into that but with funding cuts, won't see the light of day for some years at the rate we're going.

yup I know what you mean. Everything is being eroded.

One of us needs to become a multimillionaire and start developing such things here in Oz.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
