What other fertilizers do you use once plants are established but compost not quite ready or plentiful enough?

Blood and bone, seaweed extract and trace elements.  Sugar cane mulch also seems to break down fairly quickly which is helpful.

Organic Xtra is a complete organic fertiliser which works well. You can buy Searle's compost - it's worth a whirl as is their composted Cow manure.

I also use rock minerals and Gypsum for calcium.

The fertilizer they sell to gardeners is cheap and nasty but at an inflated price if can buy a 25 kg bag its a lot cheaper but nitrogen in the fertilizer can dissipate into the air  over time and probably going to be too costly  campbells fertiliser is one brand that seems to have good quality.
