Brisbane Local Food

Growing local

Came across Serendipity Farm (a NFP animal rescue farm 35kms south of Gatton at Junction View) and noticed they have the following produce for sale at reasonable prices:

Organic manure. All of our animals are fed organically with non treated grain and with lots of fresh vegetables. Therefore the manure that is expelled is of the finest quality . Manure comes in mixed bags of poultry, pig, goat, cow and horse manures. This is also mixed with organic materials such as hay or straw. Please contact us for any specific types of manure for example all goat or all poultry.  For obvious reasons manure cannot be mailed and is for pick up only. $2/bag

Organic liquid manure. As above pure organic manure. Sold ready to be watered down and fed via a watering can to your plants. For obvious reasons manure cannot be mailed and is for pick up only or can be delivered locally by arrangement for a small donation for costs. Discount for using your own drum or returning one of ours. 20LT Drum $30

They also have free range eggs $3/dozen; bush rocks ($30/6 x 4 trailer); jams, preserves.
