I started growing these with the intention of eating them (of course). Since I started I have become unwell and I'm not able to eat them for the foreseeable future. There are 5 fully mature plants, ready for harvesting. I've only used certified organic fertiliser on them and tap water.
Located in Logan.

Che, they look wonderful. I made wraps with the leaves stuffed with pork and rice for dinner tonight. Love Senposai. Mine are starting to show a little powdery mildew so I'll be spraying with milk tomorrow. I hope someone close by you (Southside, right?) will give them a try. Good food. I hope you feel better soon and will be able to grow them again.
Thanks Cathie. It was you talking about them at your garden visit that got me interested. Yep southside, just over the border in Logan lol.
I had to look 'Senposai' up....
oops! my spelling.
The spelling was fine. I hadn't heard of the plant is all:hybrid of cabbage and Komatsuna (a mustard spinach), recently developed in Japan.
LOL. I'm glad you said that Dave. I had to do some research as well. They sound quite good.
