Spots at Newmarket, hope that is not all we get

So few spots I know them by their middle names ;-) black clouds are promising.

Looks hopeful:

Lovely gentle rain here at Armstrong Creek :) Much cooler. Actually have a coat on whereas yesterday I was walking around in a sweat with the fan on.

yes Lissa - not sure if its registering in the cage - but it is awesome rain - very light but steady - want to go out and raindance

Just the merest tinkle here so far.

Yielded 2.5mm; the rain gauge has acquired a huge golden orb weaver, not seen one here in many years.

Golden Orb Weaver decided to build her new web from the clothes line to the rain gauge. A precarious position but OK for now ...

love the spider Elaine awesome photography . we have had 5 mms so far and what glorious rain good drizzle that actually soaks into the ground - the grass looks greener already ! the beans transplanted a couple of days ago ( 3 yr old  granddaughter dropped the whole packet into one spot) look so much happier !!!!!
