Just invented this and it turned out a treat with European-style smoked sausages.

Red cabbage, sliced very finely.
Apple grated.
Ginger and Garam Marsala powder.
Salt to taste.
Apple cider vinegar.

Toss all into a hot pan with a splash of olive oil. Stir around until just cooked. Add the salt and a splash of cider vinegar. Serve hot.

Im going to try this out sound nice. (i think i would try it with roast chicken, not too keen on sausages, unless in a pie)
I love having green cabbage cooked in maybe 200ml or less of water, two table spoons of butter and add mild curry powder to taste. Nice cooked with just butter, but curry adds a little something to a plate.
Mmmm! Sounds delicious. Try green cabbage with a few Carraway seeds sprinkled on just before serving.
