Hi everyone, Wasn't sure where to post this but thought someone might be interested. Met these guys last night from Okie Dokie - Whispering Farm, they are looking for buy-in to their co-op style farmshare near Ipswich. Vision is to have an animal friendly dairy run by community groups including those from refugee background and/or financially-challenged. The team are a spin off from the Fuller Centre for Housing

One hundred and twenty pioneers will form an affinity group of 10 interested members, collecting $1,000 from each member. This will give us 1,200 members who will buy one share at the value of $1,000.00. This will also give us the required $1.2 million required to buy the farm at Rosewood, west of Ipswich in QLD*

Sounds wonderful. Especially for the male calves who might get a better deal than they get now.

GrowVetiver

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
