Hi Florence. Ingrid from City Chicks here. Aren't you a dear for advertising this. Thank you... I just joined tonight. What a terrific site! Regards Ingrid
You've done great work in promoting chooks back into backyards ~
It's good to know there's another option close to home to choose from when looking for home growing supplies ~
Welcome to the group ~
cool! hey i'm going to try eucalyptus oil in the laying box
Great idea! Another good one is to wipe down the roost with that or lavender oil. Keeps the nasties away. You can also put cut up lavender directly into the laying box to give it a nice smell and deter bugs. Wouldn't it be nice to have lavender smelling eggs? Backyard Poultry naturally by Aussie writer Alanna Moore gives those ideas and 100 more in her book. Great fun reading. This is our best selling book.
