Does anyone know where to buy mushroom compost on the Northside? Preferably someone who does not spray them when they are finished with them.

we get ours from woodford  sjw mushrooms pty ltd  there is a long wait list on this at the moment so would also be interested if anyone can find closer and more easily available source

Here's a supply of mushroom compost: Caboolture.

if you buy it direct from Woodford its $1 a bag and you cab still get several weeks crop from the bags before you use it in the garden ! $36 a trailer load or they can bring you a whole truck load for about $300 plus  bit extra delivery depending where you are - thats about 50c a bag plus delivery

Thanks for the tip!

$36 a trailer how big can the trailer be .

sorry thats what it costs u in a borrowed trailer that fits 36 bags - $1 a bag - ask them 0 it becomes cheaper if yu buy even more -

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

The Vetiver Community Project is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
