Growing local

I get all my spices from Mr Spice -=- Sam and Nisha -- at the Sunday Caboolture Markets.

So I refer to Sam (oictured right) as 'my spice merchant'.

The thing about Sam is that he is spice obsessive. Really knows his spices as ingredient and nutrition. Grinds & roasts all the spices he grinds only for a 3 months at a time. Believes in 'fresh' ground.

Huge range.

It takes him 90 minutes to set up his stock and another 2 hours to pack up again. So we're talking variety like no other Indian shop I've patronised.

If he hasn't got it, he'll get it.

You want to know about a spice -- ask Sam or Nisha.

Also at the Yandina Mkts.
