Thank you to Roman, Jana and Lada for your hospitality and for a fun day learning how to make self- watering planter boxes.  Roman gave lots of wonderful advice and this information will save hours and hours of watering!  We finished with a yummy cake made in their solar oven.  Their garden is such an inspiration.  A few photos from the day.

Sure was.  We had lost some interest in the garden after such a dry challenging summer, but through joining this group, plus the recent rain and Roman's workshop showing solutions for tackling the dry weather, has given renewed enthusiasm.  3 days leave from work - pure bliss.

Thought for a minute that you were there on the Saturday Susan and we had missed you! but you went to the workshop on the Sunday.

Looks like a good time had by all during the learning process. They are a lovely young couple full of enthusiasm and creativity that's for sure.
