Pleased to say Tim is still in the composted horse manure business! Although he has only a FaceBook site, he has an email address and a mobile phone number for contact. If anyone wants his email address, please private message to me on this Forum and I will pass it along.

His current offerings may be different from what is noted here. His FB site is called Brisbane Rural Produce and more info can be had by looking at that.

A couple of years ago I bought 40 bags of his composted horse manure. The plants did very well with it and I am keen to get another load to renovate my beds over the winter.

Can vouch 100% for the composted horse poo I have bought from Tim (many truck loads). He turns up on time, unloads where you want it and the going rate is always fair especially as it's a good product that improves the beds.

Very! glad to hear he is still in the business.

Ah but I have found that Tim has re-structured his pricing. He is charging $5 a bag under 40 bags plus delivery and $4 a bag over 40 bags plus delivery. Don't know figures for other suburbs, but the delivery charge to Deception Bay is $30.

We will be looking elsewhere for our garden refurbishment materials :-(.

About this site

Welcome to Brisbane Local Food (BLF)!

This site was created by Scarlett Patrick, to build capacity in the Brisbane  community for growing, buying, and living sustainably. Six years on, BLF is an important hub to promote, discuss, share and learn about local food growing, production, gardens, services and activities happening in our part of the world.

This site exists for you - make the most if it!

BLF is motivated by passion, not profit. We thank all volunteers and members who make this an active and inspiring space to be, as well as those individuals, organisations and groups working to make the future greener.

What is local?
The closer the better - but regional and global activities are important too.

Why local?
To reduce food miles, increase food freshness & security, improve social outcomes and reduce the unused outputs of our living environments - like stormwater and green waste.

Brisbane is a sub-tropical city in Queensland, Australia.
