anyone know where I can get a plant or cuttings from,please

Have you tried Googling? There are Qld seed suppliers and nurseries who specialise in unusual food plants. There is a large section on this forum about seed suppliers etc. which might come in handy. Turner's Fruit Tree Nursery that we are visiting on 25th of this months might keep it too.

Daleys have them.  I just had a look, none are in stock at the moment but you can sign up to be texted when they are next available.

Conrad, I have a jujube plant, it is in a pot, it's about 4 years old and fruited well last year.  however the fruit were infested with fruit flies so I had to throw them all out. You are welcome to take a cutting. Please send me a private message.

Jujube should be confined to a pot because it is notorious for sending out suckers which will eventually takeover your grow patch.
