GM wheat planted, on shelves by 2015 says Government
MonsantoGM wheat trials have just been planted in NSW, WA and the ACT and our government science body, the CSIRO, has announced plans to have GM bread on supermarket shelves by 2015. That means Australians can look forward to Monsanto patents on their daily bread and our farmers are facing a massive fight to protect their wheat crop from GM contamination.

Un-believable that CSIRO should be behind this menace to our health and soil. Taking action right now, thank you for the link, Jane. seems to be having success lately. Maybe they could help.

My mate is a wheat farmer. He battles kangaroos, drought (no irrigation on his property, just the rain), and market prices. Now he gets this GM stuff...

I know the science and economics behind this crop, but I still don't like it. I like my food natural, and not privately-owned.
