Brisbane Local Food

Growing local

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine is looking for a home for his lonely hen.  He's not sure how old she is or what breed, but he guess she's 1 to 2 years old.

This is the picture he sent me, and she looks like my Lohmann brown, so I am guessing it is a commercial hybrid such as Lohmann brown, hyline or Isa brown...

What a nice bird... I love chookies :-) I so wish I could help but family members have dogs which go insane when non-dogs (i.e. birds, possums, mice, lizards, cats) are in "their" yard. :-(

Best of luck finding her a new home...

Daniel.

Thanks Daniel

Hi,

We have a lonely rooster, Scruffles, he's a frizzle bantam, 6yrs old and the last of my old chooks. They all die of old age around here.

Where abouts is the lady in the picture? We're south of Brisbane, near Browns Plains.

Let me know if she is still single and available please, thanks.

Norma

Thanks Scarlett, will let you know ~ Cheers

Hi Norma, thanks for the offer, yes she's still single.  I will send you a friend request, and msg you the hen's owner's contact number, so you guys can organize their meeting.
