Join Rob Nichols from Worm Power and Karen Sander (GP & Permaculturist) as they talk about ways to recycle your food scraps to create food for your garden and chickens! Worm farms are a great way to recycle food scraps and create a beautiful, nutrient rich product: worm castings or vermicast. Soldier fly larvae provide high quality chook food. They break down organic matter relatively quickly in a small space and chooks just love them! They are high in protein and they are free!
We will look at how you can grow and harvest your own worms and soldier flies.
Please note that we now charge a small fee for our workshops
Always add photos using the "From my computer" option, even if you are on a mobile phone or other device.
