Event Description

Saturday 21st November

9am – 4pm: Work that Reconnects – with Emma Brindal

The Work that Reconnects was developed by Deep Ecologist and Eco-Philosopher Joanna Macy as an important contribution to ‘The Great Turning’ (a term referring to the shift from our current model of consumption to a Life Sustaining Society). The workshop will introduce participants to this work by taking them through a series of experiential processes which aim to:

– Deepen our appreciation for the gifts of life and our connection to the natural world;
– Provide a space for recognising the feelings we have about the environmental and social issues that concern us;
– Enable us to see from new perspectives;
– Empower and inspire us to take new action or be able to sustain the work that we do to contribute to a Life Sustaining Society.

Cost: $85 / $65 (Healthcare Card holder)
