Where have all the Honey Bees gone and what can I do about it?

Paul Moriarty

9.30 am

Where have all the bees gone? would have to be the most asked question whenever I sell my honey at our honey stall.  The sound that signaled ‘Spring has really arrived’ used to be the sound of ‘bees buzzing’.  What has changed all this?

“My zucchinis, pumpkin and watermelon have to be hand pollinated and there is nothing happening on the clover or in the orchard”...sound familiar?

‘What do I have to do to bring the honey bees back to my garden?’

Come along to this workshop where Paul will address these questions and more in his usual engaging style.  He will do his best to demystify beekeeping and even explain why beekeepers look so good in white.

These FREE events and workshops are open to everyone in the community, not just members and volunteers at the Gardens and there is no need to book a place  - unless otherwise indicated for that particular workshop.
